Bring pictures of hair and makeup styles you like to your trial or onthe day of your event. Instruct your wedding party to do the same, it’s the best way to communicate with your stylist.

Well manicured brows are a must for any event. Get referrals for the best brow specialist, don’t just goto anyone!!!!

| Wear a white or neutral color.
If possible wear a white or neutral color to a makeup consultation. Color affects the look of the makeup. You may need to wear more color with a white dress than you would with a pink or red dress. |

Remember your pressed powder
Pressed powder is also a must for touch ups. Especially if you have oily skin or your event is planned for a hot summer day. No one wants to look shiny in pictures. |

Do not use a flat iron.
It is best to wash your hair the night before you are going to have it styled. Get it as dry and as straight as you can and DO NOT use a flat iron. |

Clean up/no makeup.
It is best to go in for a makeup consultation with a clean face, no makeup. That gives the artist a clean palette to work with and will give you the best end results. |

Lipstick will always wear off.
No matter what, lipstick will always wear off. Make sure you have lip products for your touch ups. Your makeup artist has products for sale or to give to you so you are ready for your touch ups. Make sure that you or your stylist takes pictures after your makeup trial so you can get an idea of what it will look like in photographs. |
